What is dysport?

Dysport is a type A botulinum toxin, which is a medication that works by blocking the communication between nerves and muscles causing the relaxation and smoothing out of fine lines and wrinkles on the face. The molecular structure of Dysport in slightly lighter than the common type A botulinum toxin you may know as (Botox) which is why the results normally show as soon as 2 to 3 days after treatment and last up to 4 months.

Dysport is commonly used to treat moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows. One of many benefits of this treatment is that it targets only the areas injected so it will not affect the rest of your face, making it look very natural.

Minor side effects may occur like bruising or tenderness at the site of injection and headaches. Those symptoms usually disappear within 48h.
